Sunday School and Worship Service
Youth in grades 6 through 12 meet in the Souled Out Room for Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday from September through May. For youth who want to be a part of the Worship service, there are a variety of opportunities to get involved throughout the year. Some of our youth serve as Liturgists, others volunteer in the nursery and still others sing in the choir. We also hold regular Confirmation classes for youth who wish to become Church Members.
Youth Fellowship
How do you sum up Souled Out Youth Fellowship? Friendships, fun and making a difference in the world is a great way to start. YF members meet regularly on Sunday evenings during the school year for fellowship which includes learning about and growing in the love God has for each of them. During the summer of 2020 they are meeting each Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. via ZOOM. They are also known to have an amazing time engaging in service activities and going out for activities like laser tag, a sledding derby at Whitetail Resort, Harrisburg Senators baseball games and getting their jump on at SkyZone.
A big part of being involved in Souled Out is the yearly Mission Trip each summer in partnership with Reach Mission Trips. In previous years they traveled to different locations in Ohio, New York, North Carolina and West Virginia to help families in need with home repair projects. To raise money for the trip, YF holds fundraising events at the church throughout the year such as a Valentine's Dinner and the Annual Chicken BBQ and Silent Auction.
